Canada Summer Job Grants 2020

While you are getting ready for winter, digging out shovels and putting on your snow tires, Automotive Sector Council is here to help you prepare for next summer.

The Canada Summer Jobs program is a government grant that offers support for employers providing supervised career-related work experience for youth employees.  Employers can receive hiring grants up to 50% of employee minimum hourly rate.

Eligible business must have 50 or fewer employees and be offering full-time (30+ hours/week) for 6-16 weeks to youth ages 15-30.

Applications for summer 2020 hires are expected to launch in December 2019.

This is a fantastic funding opportunity that allows employers to employ and engage new talent.  Automotive Sector Council can also assist in connecting you with youth in your community, including through our TestDrive youth initiative.
