WCB Nova Scotia is changing to serve you better
After 25 years with its current systems, WCB Nova Scotia is undergoing a major business transformation that will provide Nova Scotia’s employers and workers with improved service and new online business options.
The new industry-leading software will be implemented in spring 2019.
In addition to replacing its core systems, the WCB is overhauling MyAccount, its online portal for employers. New and enhanced features will allow users to check clearance status online at any time, track subcontractors, report payroll, sign up for automatic payment reminders, create reports with enhanced data access, maintain their own account details and much more.
More than 8,000 employers are already using the service, and those who are not signed up are encouraged to do so now to be ready to take advantage of all the new features.
The modernization is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to streamline processes and reduce red tape. The WCB expects it to save employers valuable time that can be focused on injury prevention and return to work.
