CFC Ozone Depletion Certification with Air Conditioning Servicing

Details:

CFC Certification is required by anyone handling and servicing Air Conditioning systems in Canada.

This two day hands-on interactive course through NSCC Part Time Studies program will explain the principles of air conditioning, as well as component operation and system diagnosis related to both the Automotive and Heavy Duty Vehicles. Participants will be diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning through methods such as leak detection, gauge readings, and function tests. This course will also provide the participant with the opportunity to challenge the CFC Ozone Depletion Certification Exam.

*  Identify the parts of an A/C system.
*  Recover, evacuate, and Recharge an A/C system.
*  Charge accuracy for refrigerant and oils
*  New systems and refrigerants including the new J2788 refrigerant fill requirement
*  Identification of different types of refrigerant
*  Tools and equipment including temperature testing
*  Pre and post checks to prevent comebacks
*  Lots of tips for today’s AC service technician
*  Cooling system servicing and testing
*  CFCs and the Ozone Layer
*  Summary of Current Federal Regulations on CFC’s and Halons
*  Recovering, Reusing, Recycling, and Reclaiming Techniques
*  Provincial Regulations
*  Supplementary Information for the Recommended Standard Practices

Course Costs: $350.00 per person training material included
