Who We Are

Nova Scotia's Automotive Human Resource Sector Council (ASC) is an industry driven, non-profit organization. Our role is to provide leadership in human resource best practices, labour market information and workforce development strategies for Nova Scotia's automotive service and repair employers.

The ASC is respected as the voice of Nova Scotia's automotive service industry, specifically in the human resource sector. The Council's Board of Directors acts as the liaison between industry, federal and provincial Governments, Nova Scotia Community College, community organizations, career practitioners and industry stakeholders. Through partnership development and collaborative team work, the Sector Council works to address industry's current and future labour market issues.

Our Mandate

We are committed to working with Industry, industry associations and other interested partners to identify changing human resource labour issues, propose recommendations and develop solutions that will help build a stronger automotive service and repair labour market.
